Our Christmas Closure dates and ‘Carols and Cakes’ event
On Tuesday 16th December we held our Christmas ‘Carols and Cakes’ event in Avonmore Library. There were 83 people through the door including the wonderful choir from Avonmore Primary School who sang us 6 Christmas Carols, with theatrical actions to the 12 days of Christmas which we all shamelessly took part in.
We had a Tombola, and delicious cakes on sale and it was a really nice event. Our huge thanks goes out to all the volunteers who helped us prepare and deliver the event, and especially to Avonmore Primary School for bringing the choir.
Our services at Avonmore Library CAB will be open as usual up to and including Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December. The Advice Centre CAB at Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush, will be closed on 24th December. All services will then be closed until Monday 5th January 2015. We wish everyone a healthy and Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year.
