  • Food Bank Advice Assessor / Trainee Adviser – £24,000-£26,500

    Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) has a long standing relationship with the local Trussell Trust food bank which operates out of 4 venues across the borough. Our advisers work with Food Bank service users to understand the cause of their food poverty and support them in achieving income maximisation. 

    We are recruiting for an Assessor/Trainee Adviser who will work alongside the Food Bank Adviser.  Working closely with the food bank’s staff and volunteers, the successful candidate will attend 5 sessions per week and be responsible for the triage of food bank service users, completing assessments, progressing clients as far as possible, issuing Foodbank vouchers and booking appointments with the adviser where appropriate.   You will be closely supported by the CAHF supervision staff who will help to ensure you become a certificated adviser within an agreed time frame.
