Joining our Advice Team as a Volunteer: We offer two different Volunteers roles in our Advice Services.

The Assessor Role (Adviser Learning Pathway): This role is ideal for those looking to develop high-level advocacy and diagnostic skills. You will provide direct advice and guidance to residents over the phone,email, Whatsapp and Face-to-Face helping them navigate complex issues. This role involves interpreting guidance and structured problem-solving, and progresses up to being a volunteer adviser.

Information Assistant: This role focuses on digital inclusion and empowerment. Rather than providing advice, you will support residents in finding their own information and navigating simple digital queries. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying vulnerable clients who may require more specialised, detailed support from our core team.
