Community Engagement Volunteer
Our Community Engagement Programme aims to increase CAHF’s visibility across Hammersmith & Fulham and help more local people understand who we are, what we do and how they can access our services. Community Engagement Volunteers will be ambassadors for CAHF in local community spaces, helping us bring our More Than Advice model to life.
Your role will support us in showcasing the difference Citizens Advice Hammersmith & Fulham makes every day across the borough. You’ll also help us bring our brand to life in local spaces and capture engaging real-life stories to amplify our impact online.
What You Will Be Doing
- Brand Advocacy. Representing CAHF at pop-up stalls in high-footfall local venues across the borough using branded materials like banners, collection tins and T shirts.
- Building connections with the community: Raising awareness of our ‘More Than Advice’ model, and providing clear information on how to access our services when needed
- Promoting Volunteering Opportunities: Talking to residents about the different ways they can volunteer with CAHF and encouraging those interested to find out more and apply.
- Light-Touch Fundraising: Overseeing branded collection tins at the stalls for residents who wish to donate, ensuring all activities follow basic safety and licensing guidelines.
- Supporting Communications: Helping capture photos and brief updates from engagement sessions for our Communications team to share across social media and digital platforms.
